Narpay Faculty of Foreign Languages

According to the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev during his visit to Samarkand region on April 15-16, 2021 with the participation of regional activists, in paragraph 120 of the Statement No. 20 2021-2022 Foreign languages and literature in the building of Narpay Service Technical School at the Institute. It is planned to organize the activities of the faculty.

There are following BA programs in the Faculty.
Bachelor's degree: 60111800 - Foreign Language and Literature (English); 60112600 - Foreign language in preschool and primary education (English).
There are 210 students in total.

      The Narpay Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​has the following clubs for students to spend their free time meaningfully:

Learning process

There are 2 subfaculties in this faculty:

  1. 5111400 – Foreign language and literature (the English language)
  2. 5120200 – Foreign language in kindergarten and primary schools.

5111400 – Foreign Language and Literature: A total of 55 students (17 on a grant basis, 38 on a fee-for-service basis) are studying English. Of the 55 students, 9 were boys (4 were grants, 5 were contractors), and 46 were girls (13 were grants, 33 were contractors). All of these students are studying in Uzbek groups.

5120200 – Foreign language in pre-school and primary education: a total of 25 students (5 on a grant basis, 20 on a fee-for-service basis) are studying English. Out of 25 students, 2 are boys (2 fee-for-service contracts) and 23 are girls (5 are grant, 18 are contract-fee). All of these students are studying in Uzbek groups.

At present, the faculty has one department of "General Sciences". The department has 1 senior teacher, 1 assistant and 7 trainee teachers.

Scientific activity is an important aspect for every researcher. With this in mind, permanent clubs have been introduced to further develop the scientific potential of students. These clubs help students do research. The faculty has a system of work with teachers, students and gifted students. Seminars, roundtables, and dialogues are organized to develop their skills in various fields of linguistics, oral and written translation, fiction and poetry translation, and writing scientific articles. Selected students will be drawn into clubs based on their talents and aspirations, and supervisors will be assigned to topics of interest.
