English Language Teaching Methodology

The department English Language Teaching Methodology was established In accordance with the record of the meeting of the Council of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages No. 1 dated September 5, 2024, within the Faculty of English Philology and translation studies. Oblokulova Mastura Mizrobovna is the head of the Department. Currently, there are 3 candidates of science, 3 senior teachers, 7 assistant teachers and 13 trainee teachers in the department.
All the professors and teachers of the department have C1 certificates for determining the level of language proficiency. The department teaches more than 8 subjects at the undergraduate level and 1 subject at the master's level.
The scientific direction of the department is called “Language typology and interlinguistic methodology". Accordingly, professors and teachers are conducting research in this direction.
