ACTIVITY

Monitoring and Internal Control section of SSIFL was established on the basis of Order No 207 of the Ministry of  Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 29 August, 2001.
Internal Control and Monitoring Department carries out its activities in coordination with the Ministry and in accordance with the annual plan that the Rector of the Institute provides.
Functions of Monitoring and internal control section:

• Monitoring of the implementation of the National Program of Internal Control and Personnel Training of Higher Education Institutions (later referred as Internal Control and Monitoring) is the implementation of the tasks set out in the National Curriculum for Education, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the educational process, higher education institutions, and control over the timely implementation of regulatory acts and guidelines by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
• The internal control and monitoring activities are regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Laws "On Education", "On National Program of Personnel Training", Decrees and Orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education in accordance with the Decrees, orders and resolutions of the Board.
• Internal control and monitoring enforces the implementation of the national program of Personnel  Training in Higher Education Institutions, as well as the provision of educational, teaching, spiritual, research and development activities of faculties, chairs and other structural subdivisions , retraining of personnel, resolutions of the Collegium and the Academic Council, the orders issued by the Ministry and the institution, and the implementation of normative documents in the field of education.
• The implementation of higher education laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of higher organizations, decisions of the Ministry, orders, instructions, letters and telephones, as well as the implementation of the Council resolutions and orders are controlled in Educational Institutions.
• It organizes the internal control of the quality of teaching staff and qualification improvement and retraining of the personnel of national economy.
• Develops and implements a system of execution of decisions and orders of the higher educational institution.
• Positive outcomes in the introduction of modern interactive technologies in the learning process contribute to promoting the ideas and initiatives that promote the quality and effectiveness of teaching.
• Monitoring of educational, training, spiritual, research, training and retraining of faculties, departments, and other structural subdivisions.

Monitoring and Internal control section execute following rights:

• To check compliance with educational standards and normative documents about education in higher educational institution and related educational institutions (professional development institutes, lyceums and others);
• Participate in all kinds of council meetings in higher educational institutions and related educational institutions;
• Attracting faculty members, chairs and other structural subdivisions to study the activities of the educational institution, requesting the necessary documents for the performance of their duties and involving experts in the subject;
• Protection of the course project (works), graduation and master's thesis, carrying out of state attestations, consideration of all the theoretical and practical exercises;
• Creating groups with involvement of qualified professors and teachers of the educational institution in accordance with the established procedure for studying issues within the scope of internal control and monitoring;
• Regular monitoring and monitoring of document execution;
• Directly deal with issues related to the learning process (attendance, monitoring of attendance of lecturers, attendance in the classroom, organization of the lessons at the required level or control of their conduct);
• Monitoring the full accomplishment of weekly academic hours in baccalaureate and magistracy;
• The institute has the right to conduct inspections for strengthening working discipline, make recommendations to the rector on identified mistakes and shortcomings and make recommendations on disciplinary measures.
