On June 13 of this year, a dissertation discussion was held on the topic "Tazkiras 'Majolis un-nafois' and 'Latoyifnama': tradition and succession, characteristics of artistic style" written by Bobur Chorshanbiyevich Kurbanov, a researcher at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. The purpose of the discussion was to evaluate the dissertation for the attainment of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of philological sciences, specializing in 10.00.06 Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies.
