On June 22, 2023, the results of the "Asia University Rankings 2023" by the Times Higher Education Agency were announced during the "Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit" held at the University of Hong Kong, China.

Among the 669 higher education institutions evaluated from 31 countries in the region, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages stood out as a "Reporter" in this prestigious ranking. The evaluation was based on 13 indicators, highlighting the activities of the institutions.
