PROFESSORS-TEACHERS WHO SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED THEIR DISSERTATIONS FOR THE DEGREE OF PhD

The head of the Department of “Innovative educational technologies and methodology,” Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in philological sciences Zebiniso Khaydar qizi Khamrayeva, was awarded a diploma and a laptop for receiving the academic title of associate professor in the specialty 10.00.06 - Comparative literature, contrastive linguistics, and translation studies.

At today’s meeting of the Institute Council, Nurjahon Bahodir qizi Nazarova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of “Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology,” was awarded a diploma and a laptop on the occasion of receiving the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty 10.00.06 – “Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies.”

Laylo Fakhriddinovna Kholiqova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences from the department of “Innovative educational technologies and methodology,” was awarded a diploma and a laptop on the occasion of receiving the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty 13.00.02 – “Theory and methodology of education and upbringing.”

Sitora Mardonovna Mardonova, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences from the Department of “Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology,” was awarded a diploma and a laptop on the occasion of receiving the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty 10.00.04 – “Language and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia.”

Nazarova Nurjahon Bahadir kizi, 3rd year doctoral student, was awarded a diploma and a computer for successfully early completing the doctoral program for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences at the Department of Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology in the field of 10.00.06 – Comparative literary criticism, contrastive linguistics and translation studies
 

Rustamova Shokhista Sharifovna was awarded a diploma and a computer for receiving in advance a PhD diploma in philological sciences in the field of 13.00.02 - Theory and methods of education and upbringing.

On October 16, 2024, at the Department of Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, a scientific-practical seminar was held by Doctor, Associate Professor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, Associate Professor Normatova Nurzhamol Normatovna for all researchers engaged in scientific research. The topic of the seminar was "Stages of writing and defending a candidate's dissertation."

Scientific and methodological seminars

In order to attract young people to scientific activities and improve their scientific skills, a number of scientific and methodological seminars are organized at the Department of Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology. In particular, Abduvakhabova Umida Yusupovna held a seminar on the topic "Pragmo-stylistic means of describing human values in the original and translations of the works of Herbert Beitz."

SCIENTIFIC CIRCLES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AND METHODOLOGY
To provide meaningful engagement for students during their free time, clubs such as the “English Speaking Academy” and “Bright Peak” are organized every Wednesday for all volunteers. These activities are facilitated by the professors and teachers from the Department of Innovative Educational Technologies and Methodology within the English Faculty.

During classes, professors and teachers of the department conduct various exercises and discussions on current topics that are of interest to students.

In the circle plan, cooperation events are also being developed, and integration trainings are being organized with students of Samarkand State Medical University.

All students who take an active part in the club are awarded with various souvenirs and certificates of honor.

Moreover, during the months of September-October, professors-teachers of the department have organized meetings with graduate students to guide students' pedagogical practice.

International scientific and practical conference.

On May 2-3, 2024, at the initiative of the department of “Innovative Educational Technologies and Pedagogy” of English Faculty-1 of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, an international scientific conference was held on the topic “Advanced methods of ensuring the quality of education: problems and solutions.” Professors of higher educational establishments from countries such as Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India, Turkey, Russia, Indonesia, Egypt and the U.S.A. took part in the conference. The conference collection included about 400 articles, more than 100 of which belong to professors and researchers of foreign higher educational establishments. The issue of ensuring the quality of education remains one of the pressing issues in all countries of the world. Suggestions and recommendations developed as a result of the conference made a worthy contribution to the creation of a quality structure in education to improve the quality of education in accordance with world standards.
