On June 16 of this year, Azzamov Yusufjon Rajaboy oghli, a researcher at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, successfully defended the dissertation titled "Linguistic and translational characteristics of gastronomy terminology in English and Uzbek languages" to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in philological sciences, specializing in 10.00.06 - "Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies".
