Today, on June 20, an international scientific-practical conference titled "Prospective Directions of Linguistics and Linguodidactics" was held at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. The conference saw the participation of foreign scientists, professors, teachers, and students. The opening of the conference was marked by an introductory speech delivered by Professor Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov, the Rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, who wished success for the conference proceedings.

During the conference, various topics were discussed, including the emergence of surrealist novels in Turkish literature, comments on the phenomenon of suffixation in French, and the use of zoonym and phytonym names as fundamental components in German phraseological units.
