It is a long time since cybercrime, which is being mentioned with new types, entered the list of global problems of the century. We all know that it poses a great threat to the lives of mankind by spreading virus programs, hacking passwords, embezzling funds from credit cards and other bank details, and looting.

To prevent such problems, practical activities is being carried out, especially at the Faculty of English Philology and Translation Studies, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. At the initiative of faculty tutors Sh. Dusmonov and M. Ilyasova, the students participated in an event where T. Safarov and Sh. Khadjayeva, specialists from the Plastic Card Processing Department of the InfinBank, Samarkand regional branch, were invited as guests.

The event provided detailed information on what cybercrime is, including not giving your bank card code to strangers, not trusting messages about various rewards or promotions, using multi-factor authentication to protect information systems, and ensuring information security.
