The institute has set up two language learning centers in Kushrabot district to provide foreign language education to children from low-income families and citizens preparing to work abroad. These centers will offer courses in English, German, and Korean, taught by qualified professors from the institute.
Five rooms have been allocated at School No. 82 in the district center and five more at Vocational School No. 1 in the Jo‘shota area. The institute covered the initial renovation costs and equipped the rooms with educational materials, modern technology, and teaching aids.
Six qualified teachers—two for each language (English, German, and Korean)—have been assigned to teach at the centers. They are compensated according to legal requirements and have been provided with all necessary working conditions.
Today marked the official opening of the centers, with the ceremony attended by the Deputy Governor of Samarkand, H. Tukhtaev, Kushrabot District Governor D. Shakarboev, Rector of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages B. Kholikov, local sector leaders, and community members.
During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of foreign language education and the preparation of specialists in Uzbekistan. They highlighted how many young people are not only advancing their professional education but also learning foreign languages, which opens doors for travel and greater success. Attendees were encouraged to take full advantage of these opportunities.
The newly established centers in Kushrabot will now offer local youth the chance to master foreign languages and prepare for admission to prestigious universities, helping them develop into well-rounded individuals.
Currently, lists of children from low-income families and citizens preparing for overseas work have been compiled, and classes have already begun.
