The subject of scientific research of the chair faculty is “Social-economical and philosophical issues of Uzbekistan’s development”. Teachers of the chair conduct their scientific research on different aspects of the given research subject. During the latest years, more than 135 scientific and scientific-methodical articles were published.

Organizational – methodical activity:

Study groups “Young speakers” and “Philosophic disputes” are arranged at the chair. At the same time, faculty of the chair supervise scientific activity of 36 talented students, who have been conducting their research activity under close and effective supervision of the teachers in selected areas of research interest. All members of the chair take active part in various scientific-practical and scientific-theoretical conferences.

Spiritual and enlightenment activity:

Staffs of the Chair of “Social sciences” take active part in promotion and explanation of the main directions of state policy among the population of various districts of Samarkand region. Teachers of the chair develop thematic plans and information resources for successful conducting of spiritual and enlightenment events in academic groups on the institute level. Members of the chair also perform as supervisors for academic group. Staff of the chair have been constantly conducting round table discussions, debates and discussions on the most important and urgent problems in the institute dormitory.
