The main purpose of the educational-methodical department is to determine the decision of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and their decisions related to the teaching process, within the framework of the institute, coordination of educational activities of faculties and departments, organization of educational and methodical work at the institute and quality of control in education.
In the educational-methodical department there are 5 employees - the head of educational-methodical department, the methodical department designer, the supervisor and dispatchers.
The main tasks assigned to the head of educational-methodical department:
• is responsible for educational issues and organizes the work of the teaching staff, provides methodological and practical assistance to the staff of the department;
• creates an annual work plan of the teaching staff;
• Participates in the work of the Council and organizes and makes suggestions on the analysis of the level of availability of teaching materials and specialists in educational directions and specialties;
• Prepares draft orders and decrees of the rector on the implementation of decisions and decrees of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education on the academic affairs, decisions of the Institute Council;
• Prepares the educational process for the new academic year and co-ordinates the functioning of the faculties;
• review and approve working curricula for education fields and specialties;
• Defines and approves the load of teaching materials on professorial-teaching positions based on the size of the institute's training load and the number of staff units available;
• Analyzes and prepares results of inspections based on raids and plans;
• organizes and carries out the defense of the FSA tests, the graduation qualification and the master's thesis, and carries out the supervision of the institute;
• Holds meetings of deputy deans and assisting staff for the organization and control of educational process;
• prepares the annual report on educational-methodical department activity;
• Performs additional work of the Rector and Vice Rector on Academic Affairs.
Methodist of educational-methodical department: Norova Mokhichekra Sharifovna
• organizes and prepares the academic year's training plan and identifies the targeted teaching and learning activities targeted at the educational fields and specializations;
• Together with the department heads, chairs determine the size of educational academic hours and make proposals on the amount of staff of the department;
• Under the current standards, chairs form bachelor and masters the volume of educational academic hours and provide methodological assistance to them;
• The main normative and legal acts on the organization of the bachelor and master's theoretical training (State educational standards, standard and working curricula, exemplary and working programs, working documents, etc.) control the minimization;
• Develops an action plan for preparing and implementing FSA tests and oversees the implementation of the faculties;
• prepares the project of the rector's order on the graduation qualification work and master's thesis and assignment of the supervisor to the student;
• Supervises control over the completion of the graduation qualification paper and the master dissertation paper and the receiving them by students;
• Prepares the annual report on FATC affairs;
• Takes part in the work of raids and commissions on inspection;
• Performs additional tasks of the department head.

The main tasks assigned to the academic-methodical department
• The Scientific Council of the Institute prepares information and materials about the educational process for the Management Board;
• Prepares the order and instructions of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education on the academic affairs, the orders and decrees of the rector on the institutional introduction of decisions of the Academic Council;
• Carries out monitoring of educational and training rooms and their academic year, and makes proposals on them according to the established procedure;
• oversees the establishment, validation and follow-up of the curriculum and schedule of undergraduate and graduate studies;
The dispatcher of the educational-methodical department: Jurakulov Abror Raufovich
• Oversees the objective and correct distribution of educational software downloads, providing methodological assistance to the departments;
• Departments are responsible for calculating the course load and the distribution within the academic year, identifying the causes and suggesting that appropriate measures be taken;
• oversees the development and approval of working curricula and curricula for undergraduate and graduate studies at the institute;
• Arranges timetable, approves and submits lessons to the dean;
• Establishes timely, accurate, timeframe-oriented workshops on education trends and magistracy specialties;
• Ensures the effective use of educational facilities;

Observer’s responsibilities of educational-methodical department
• Carries out monitoring of academic manual references with the help of information and resource centers and faculties;
• Creates a plan for the creation and publishing of educational and academic manuals on the institute;
• Analyzes the conformity of the developed teaching materials to the curriculum, the concepts of the creation of the textbooks, and organizes teaching and methodological boards;
• Analyzes the needs of departments in educational and academic manual references, and on this basis the departments provide methodological and practical assistance in the development of educational and methodical work plans;
• organizes preparation, termination and completion of the institute qualification practice, organizes the schedule of the practical training;
• oversee the selection and realization of contract sites, execution of contract obligations;
• Regulatory and legal documents on the organization and conduct of students' qualification practice at the deans and chairs, the availability of their qualifications and requirements as well as regulations, practice programs and work programs, methodological recommendations, evaluation criteria, etc. and provides methodological and practical assistance in the preparation of the standard;
• coordinates the activities of faculties;
• Prepares the rector's orders and instructions on practical issues;
• Cooperates and participates in organization of organizational and final conferences of students participating in practice.
