The main tasks and functions

• Based on international agreements between the Republic of Uzbekistan and ministerial foreign countries it develops a strategy for international cooperation of the institute, discusses its main branches  and makes  proposals on the development of education;
• It makes recommendations for Research Council and rector of the institute aimed at improving international relations;
• It considers agreements on cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, research centers and other organizations and projects and makes recommendations on them;
• It considers the proposed candidates for the education or training at abroad, to carry out scientific research also the accumulation of “Iste’dod”which belonges to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other competitions;
• It creates of educational programs for  faculties, departments and branches of institute, foreign governmental and non-governmental, international organizations and coordinates activities related to participation in research projects;
• It helps provides a comprehensive the implementation of development projects with foreign partners and faculties, departments and branches;
•  It affirms foreign scientists, professors and teachers delivering lectures, seminars and other educational-methodical and scientific work also to attract foreign students as listeners ;
• It considers other issues in the fields of international cooperation and makes suggestions;

Rights and powers

• It signs bilateral agreements and a memorandums  with foreign partners, makes of changes and amendments to them;
• It makes recommendation to send professors, teachers and students to study abroad, training, internship, research and participation in scientific conferences;
• It recommends candidates are sent for training or carry out scientific research to study abroad;
