The Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Department of spirituality, enlightenment and working with youth, along with increasing the activity of the institute in the spiritual and educational sphere, has a deep understanding of spiritual self-consciousness, development of ideas, morality and prevention, mutual respect, inculcation of human qualities and other issues, management of spiritual and educational work in the institute, coordination of guidelines, promoting best practices of departments, public organizations and departments in the field of spirituality, providing necessary scientific and methodological recommendations, publications and publication of literature, promoting students' meaningful leisure time, implements various activities aimed at raising the world's outlook.

Department of spirituality, enlightenment and working with youth acts according to "On raising the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work and raising the development of the industry to a new level" spirituality and enlightenment is a part of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 28, 2017, and the Regulations of the Spirituality and Education Center under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as a number of other normative acts and laws.

The aim of the department is to educate students in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values, to expand their spiritual, aesthetic, ethical worldview, to protect their thinking from the effects of various non-religious ideas. And the main goal is to make youth devoted person of independent Uzbekistan.

The functions of the department - to carry out spiritual and cultural activities in the country;

- Establishing an ethical, aesthetic, political, legal, artistic education among students;

- organizing conferences, conversations, meetings on the basis of national traditions;

- helping the improvement of students' spiritual and physical perfection;

- defining the priority areas of spiritual and educational work at the institute, and improving necessary normative documents and recommendations in this direction;

- Participates in the improvement of spiritual-enlightenment work in cooperation with city, district departments of the Spirituality and Enlightenment Center of the Republic, as well as with the funds operating in our country, public organizations.

Reception, registration, acceptance and delivery of orders of the higher bodies and divisions to the head of the department;

Receiving documentation of the departments or chairs and transfer to relevant departments;

Publishing, reproducing and registration of documents belonging to department or faculty chair;

Registration of visitors and acceptance of applications;

Maintaining sanitary-hygienic condition and cleanliness of the department or faculty chair where he/she works
