Scientific methodical activity

Professors and teachers of the department are constantly actively involved in scientific research. Seminars are held in the department in accordance with the plan of scientific work. Professors and teachers of the department regularly participate in international and republican scientific-practical conferences and publish their articles in scientific journals.
A system was established in the department with teachers and talented students. Roundtable discussions and seminar-trainings are organized on the pedagogical and psychological features of learning foreign languages. Selected students are drawn into clubs based on their talents and aspirations, and academic supervisors are assigned to them in areas of interest.

Efficiency of scientific research:

This year, on the occasion of the "October 1 Day of Teachers and Mentors", the teacher of the "Pedagogy, psychology and physical culture" department, professor Makhmudova Muyassar Makhmudovna was awarded with the "LABEL OF HONOR" by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan ".

In September 2021, by the decision of the Presidium of the Turan Academy of Sciences, the Institute of the History of the Peoples of Central Asia named after Makpirat, professor M. Makhmudova was awarded an Academic title.

In 2019, professor of the department M.M. Makhmudova, was awarded the medal "Mo’tabar ayol" by the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.

In 2023, Professor M. Makhmudov was awarded the medal " Mehnat faxriysi " the Board of Trustees of the Nuroniy Foundation, with a certificate of honor from the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the support of public activity of veterans in Uzbekistan and for many years of fruitful and conscientious work and dedication to their duty.

On December 19, 2022, the professor of the department, Saidov Azamat Ismailovich, was awarded the badge " “Ilm-fan targ’ibotchi” by the Academy of Science and Innovation.

Professor A.I. Saidov is a member of the scientific council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Under the guidance of Professor of the Department A.I. Saidov prepared and defended many candidate's dissertations.

CIRCLE OF YOUNG PSYCHOLOGISTS AND SKILLED PEDAGOGUES
In order to make students’ free time more meaningful every month professors and teachers hold pedagogical and psychological trainings of the "Young Psychologists and Skilled Pedagogues" circle, which operates in the department which based on the annual plan.

A number of professors and teachers of the department of "Pedagogy, psychology and physical culture" of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages took part in the contest " Owner of the golden pen " held on March 5 this year.
