On August 31, 2022, Elova Umida Rozimurodovna, a researcher of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, defended the dissertation  "Historical, cultural and linguopoetic aspects of romantic epic 'The Song of Hiawatha' by H.U. Longfellow" written to receive the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 10.00.06 - "Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies".
