The next visit of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation during his trip to Samarkand was Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, the rector of SamSIFL, introduced the minister to the activities of the institution, the opportunities and facilities created for students and teachers, as well as a new faculty building and student dorms, which will be built in the new academic year. The information was presented about the solar panels installed on the roofs of the buildings and the ongoing work being carried out there.

The construction work includes a 2000-seat educational building, another 1000-seat educational building that was fully renovated in February and put into use after the complete renovation, a 300-seat building under construction, as well as 500 and 350-seat student residences that are currently in use.

Minister Ibrohim Abdurahmonov visited the educational buildings, the information resource center, the new educational building under construction, and student residences, and provided relevant advice and suggestions.
