On March 1, 2022, the Faculty of Oriental Languages hosted a competition of "24th Japanese Oratory". The rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov opened the competition and wished good luck to the participants.

The 24th Japanese Public Speaking Competition was attended by 10 contestants, academic staff and students of the faculty, and all interested parties.

According to the results of the competition, Javohir Shahobov, Feruz Asliyev, Temur Mavlonov and Visola Shuhratova won the right to participate at the republican stage of the competition "Japanese Oratory".
