It is no exaggeration to say that Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   is one of the leading universities in the region in terms of cooperation with foreign universities since the institute continues international cooperation with about 100 prestigious foreign universities. These include universities and educational establishments in the United States too.

Also, on May 10-18, 2022, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   in cooperation with Indiana University of the United States of America is organizing a special training course "Uzbek language and culture." The course was organized several years ago at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, and every year foreign students get acquainted with the Uzbek language and culture in Samarkand. Furthermore, the cultural and historical heritage, historical monuments, the sights of Samarkand, the customs and traditions of our people are taught in the program. 

Today, May 11, students of Indiana University of the United States of America visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   and got acquainted with the institute. The opening ceremony of the course was organized by the students of the Faculty of English II with the participation of the vice-rector for educational affairs of the institute.
