Currently, a delegation led by the rector of SamSIFL Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov is paying official visits to Turkish universities.

On the first day of the visit, an official meeting was held with the participation of the rector of SamSIFL Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov and the rector of Istanbul University Mahmut Aklar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for establishing close cooperation between the two higher education institutions, including the development of teaching Turkish language and literature at SamSIFL and the teaching of Uzbek as a foreign language. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
