On February 3, a delegation headed by Jonathan Henick, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan, visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. The esteemed guests were welcomed by the rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.
During the official meeting between the parties, the issues of mutual cooperation and the projects implemented in cooperation between Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and the US Embassy were discussed.
Also, the parties talked over further strengthening of international cooperation between SamSIFL and the US Embassy, the ongoing project "English Access Microscholarship Program" for the years 2022-2024 in SamSIFL, and organizing summer camps together with the embassy.
