In line with the aim of Uzbekistan government to provide quality education, General Secondary School No. 32 in Oqdaryo district has begun teaching German language classes in addition to French. This initiative aims to equip pupils with proficiency in at least two foreign languages. The extra classes are conducted by teachers from Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and are free for both school teachers and school children to participate. The rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages visited the school on April 19 to discuss the progress of the classes and the provision of teaching materials and textbooks with the school administration and pupils.
