Omonova Makhfirat Keldiyarovna, a researcher of Karshi State University,  defended her dissertation on the topic "Lexical-Semantic Features of Meliorative Terminology (in the examples of the English and Uzbek languages)" to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialization of 10.00.06 - "Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies".
