As you may be aware, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages regularly organizes internationals courses and summer schools on "Uzbek language and culture" in collaboration with foreign universities and organizations.

Today, on May 10, a 10-day training course has begun for 8 students from Indiana University (Indiana University Bloomington).

During the international course, the foreign students receive lectures from the institute's teachers not only on the Uzbek language but also on various topics including Uzbek national culture, customs, history, and geography of Uzbekistan.
