The teaching staff of the department takes an active part in their research work. In accordance with the plan of scientific work, scientific conferences and seminars are held at the department. The faculty and students of the department regularly participate in international and republican scientific and practical conferences, publish their articles in scientific journals.

The department has established a system of work with mentors, talented students. Round tables, dialogues are organized to develop their abilities in various areas of linguistics, interpretation and translation, literary narration and poetic translation, writing scientific articles. Selected students will be attracted to circles in accordance with their talents and aspirations, and scientific supervisors will be attached in areas of interest to them.

Efficiency of research work:

In the current year, based on the results of scientific research conducted at the department, number of  textbooks, teaching aids, brochure and scientific articles were published  at scientific- practical conferences and international  journals.

Work carried out to implement innovative ideas and developments:

 According the Decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan   Sh.M. Mirziyoyev dated February 7, 2017 No. PP 49-47 “on the strategy of action for the further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan” serves as a program guide in improving the effectiveness of education and upbringing at the department, giving serious attention to the practical importance of scientific research.

Experienced teachers PhD F.Usmanov, senior teachers A.Marupova,  P.Khotamova, N.Aminova, M.Karimova, F.Aslamova, trainee teacher Sh. Turniyazov, N.Sobirova,  under the motto "New Uzbekistan - a new worldview", organized open lessons   for teachers and students of secondary schools in the districts. In Samarkand,  Pastdargom and Nurobod districts of the region, open discussions were held with schoolchildren.
