The international conference has commenced.
📅 On September 26, 2025, in collaboration between Indonesia and Uzbekistan, the “International Conference & Annual Business Meeting 2025” officially began.
The theme of the conference is: “Transforming English Language Education: Innovation, Inclusion and Impact.”
The event gathered scholars, professors, and specialists from both countries who delivered scientific presentations on innovative approaches to English language teaching, ensuring inclusivity in the educational process, and effective ways to impact learners.
Professor N.M. Suleymanova from the Department of Theoretical Aspects of the English Language, along with the leadership of our institute, participated in this prestigious event and shared the results of their scientific research.
Within the framework of the conference, the parties are also discussing prospects for future cooperation, joint scientific projects, and the exchange of students and teachers.

A group of professors and teachers from the Department of Theoretical Aspects of the English Language paid a visit to Secondary School No. 62 in Nurobod district. The department staff met with the school administration, signed a cooperation agreement, and organized master classes for the school’s teachers and students.

In addition, a practical psychological career-oriented roundtable discussion was held with 10th–11th grade students. During the discussion, graduating students received advice on career guidance and choosing suitable fields of study for admission to higher education institutions.

At the end of the interesting and interactive meeting, both sides agreed to hold future sessions on even more engaging and modern topics.

Higher education and school 

Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Faculty of English, Department of Theoretical Aspects of English, professors and teachers A.T. Amanov, Q.A. Khakimov, seminar-training on the topic "Improving the skills of school teachers in teaching foreign languages" was warmly received by the pedagogical team of the school, and in the future It was agreed to exchange ideas on more interesting topics, reading comprehension, grammar of English language in grades 9-10-11 To S. E. Tuychiyev, F. B. Aslonov, F. M. Abdurakhmanova, M. M. Porsayeva, M. Rajabov, who took a responsible approach in taking skills and professional tests, the administrations of both sides expressed their satisfaction that they have been contributing to the meaningfulness of our mutual cooperation without sparing their time. .

In the school of Nurabad district, allocated for SamSIFL department of "Theoretical aspects of English language" practical work is carried out to improve the qualifications of foreign language teachers of general education schools.

In particular,  teachers of the department K. Khakimov and M. Rajabov visited School No. 36 in the Nurabad district according to a pre-arranged plan.

During the process, master classes and training seminars were held with the participation of school teachers,  psychological tests and tests of knowledge of English were conducted for graduating students.

Fazliddin Shukurovich Ruziqulov Awarded the Honorary Title of Professor by Altai State Pedagogical University

As you may be aware, Fazliddin Shukurovich Ruziqulov, Acting Rector and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, has returned after spending time at Altai State Pedagogical University in Russia.

During a special event commemorating the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Altai State Pedagogical University, Fazliddin Shukurovich Ruziqulov was honored with the title of Professor. This recognition was in appreciation of his active involvement in international collaboration efforts and his dedication to advancing the teaching of the Russian language in foreign countries.

Cooperation relations with the Indonesian University of Muhammadiyah Makassar are being strengthened
