In addition, the department's professors and teaching staff have actively established and maintained cooperation with schools and other educational institutions to strengthen collaborative ties. The department's professors have been introducing innovative teaching technologies in schools. To ensure continuity and seamless integration in education, the department has established academic-methodological agreements with several schools in Nurobod district, including secondary schools No. 26 and 29. These efforts aim to attract students to higher education institutions and to ensure employment for graduates through close, practical, and innovative corporate collaboration with employers and organizations.
The department's professors, in collaboration with school teachers, have been providing practical assistance in the educational process. This includes the introduction of pedagogical and information technologies, acting as scientific advisors for specialized subjects, conducting joint scientific research, creating textbooks and educational manuals, developing training programs, and organizing optional classes to ensure students acquire sufficient knowledge in specialized subjects.
The department's professors regularly visit general education schools as part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PF-6108 dated November 6, 2020, carrying out the following ongoing activities:
1. A cooperation agreement was signed between Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and secondary schools No. 26 and 29 in Nurobod district, with ongoing activities under this agreement.
2. Regular testing of the foreign language proficiency of graduating 11th-grade students is conducted, and based on their results, additional lessons are provided to address their mistakes.
3. Monthly seminar-training sessions and open lessons are held for all teachers of the schools by the department’s professors to further enhance their qualifications and knowledge, which has been highly valued by the school teachers.
4. Surveys are conducted among 11th-grade students regarding their interests, abilities, plans to enter higher education institutions, the subjects they are preparing for, the technical or vocational colleges they wish to attend, the skills they have acquired, and their future career aspirations. The surveys also gather students' opinions on what further improvements could be made to enhance the quality of education in general education schools. Additionally, modern career information is provided to them.
5. Subject tests and dictations are administered to all teachers of these schools, and the department's professors conduct round-table discussions to exchange ideas and share modern teaching methods and ways to make lessons more engaging and effective using modern information technologies.
6. The conditions for students and teachers in the assigned general education schools are reviewed, and additional support is provided as needed.
The department's professors, along with school teachers, continue to conduct scientific research, develop practical training programs, provide career guidance to students, and assist in educational and methodological work.
