At the Department of Japanese Philology, a long-term plan for the research work of the teaching staff was drawn up, and as a result of constant monitoring of the implementation of the plan, many scientific articles were published in various prestigious scientific journals . lectures and conferences of professors and teachers of the department, abstracts of reports were published. Within the framework of the approved plan, research work is being carried out by a number of young teachers in order to increase the scientific and pedagogical potential of the department.

During 2011-2018, a number of professors and teachers of the department improved their qualifications in these foreign educational and scientific centers on the basis of cooperation agreements concluded with SamDHTI and educational and scientific centers of the Japan Foundation.

During 2011-2018 more than 10 qualified foreign specialists from Japan worked at the Department of Japanese Philology, and all of them taught on the basis of international certificates giving the right to teach Japanese. Today 2 Japanese specialists works in the department.
