A prospective plan for carrying out research work of professor-teachers has been drawn up, and as a result of the constant monitoring of the implementation of the plan, the professor-teachers of the department have published many scientific articles and abstracts in various prestigious scientific journals and conferences. Within the framework of the approved plan, scientific research work is being carried out by a number of young teachers in order to increase the scientific and pedagogical potential of the department.

During the years 2011-2018, a number of professor-teachers of the department have improved their qualifications on the basis of cooperation agreements concluded with Samarkand state institute of foreign languages and educational institutions of the Republic of Korea.

There are more than 20 qualified foreign specialists from the Republic of Korea who worked in the Department of Korean Philology during 2011-2023, and all of them have been teaching on the basis of international certificates giving the right to teach the Korean language. Nowadays one Korean specialist works in the department.
