Today, March 26, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Yoshinori Fujiyama visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages ​​on the occasion of the 30th Republican contest "Japanese Oratory". During the visit, an official meeting was held between the rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages ​​Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov and the esteemed Ambassador.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding and strengthening international cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japanese higher education institutions, as well as the exchange programs of professors and students in the framework of future cooperation, increasing their skills, developing textbooks together.

After the meeting, rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov introduced Mr. Yoshinori Fujiyama the opportunities and facilities created at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages ​​for teachers and students, as well as the activities of language centers.
