On April 20 of this year, the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology, the Faculty of English II organized an international conference on "Linguodidactics and innovative foundations of foreign language education." 

The conference is being organized  in cooperation with the Makassar University of Indonesia, the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, and Yaroslavl Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation.

The conference is devoted to topical issues related to teaching foreign languages, methods of teaching foreign languages and the theory of education, the introduction of new pedagogical and innovative technologies in the educational process, their solution and exchange of experience and ideas, improving distance learning methods, teachers of foreign languages set themselves the goal to improve their teaching skills and the quality of teaching. A plenary session and the work of the following sections are planned at the international scientific and practical conference:

- Problems of methodic and methodology of teaching a foreign language at different stages of education;
- Implementation of innovative methods of teaching foreign languages in distance education;
- Linguo-didactic and linguo-pragmatic problems of language units and speech systems;
- Linguistic-linguo didactic bases of intercultural communication and problems of formation of communicative competence.
