Every year there is a traditional Spartakiad sports competition between professors and staff of the instiute. It is known that this year the XXVII Spartakiad sports competitions started.
As part of the Spartakiad, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages hosted a table tennis tournament on May 19, 2022. According to the results, the Faculty of Oriental Languages won the honorary 1st place, the 2nd place by the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, and the 3rd place by the Faculty of English I. In the individual championship J.Temirov took the 1st place among men, and N.Isroilova took the 1st place among women.
