As it was previously reported, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation held a forum of rectors of Uzbek-Korean higher education institutions on March 27-28 in Tashkent. During this forum, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages established cooperation relations with several universities in South Korea.

The next university is Daegu Haany University, South Korea, the esteemed guests with the participation of its officials, i.e. vice president for international affairs Yoon-Kwan Lee, visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

During the meeting, a negotiation was held between the parties on cooperation in exchange programs for teachers and students.
