In line with the "Year of Attention to People and High-Quality Education," the esteemed President has emphasized the importance of improving the quality of foreign language education in secondary schools, with the expectation that every school graduate should possess proficiency in two foreign languages.

In this regard, the teaching of the Chinese language has commenced at Specialized Boarding School No. 1 in the city of Samarkand, under the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions. The school has Chinese language teachers from the Confucius Institute under the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, who actively participate in the educational process. The classes are provided free of charge and are open to both students and school teachers.
