Throughout its existence, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages has consistently strengthened its partnerships with over 100 esteemed foreign higher education institutions and leading global educational organizations.

In this vein, Professor Stephen Corbett, the Director of the School of Education, Languages, and Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth in Great Britain, along with Marjorie Huet-Martins, the Deputy Director, paid a visit to the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. They were warmly welcomed by the institute's acting Rector, Fazliddin Ruzikov.

During their meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of robust international cooperation and the plans to continue and intensify these collaborations in the future. Specifically, they reached agreements on various projects, including teacher and student exchanges and the organization of teacher training courses.
