During its ongoing activities, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages is strengthening partnerships with over 100 influential foreign higher education institutions and leading educational organizations worldwide, particularly with Spanish higher education institutions and educational organizations.

In this context, on November 23-24 of the current year, a meeting between the rectors of universities in Uzbekistan and Spain took place at the University of Cadiz in Spain. The event included an online meeting between Francisco Piniella, the Rector of the University of Cadiz, and Fazliddin Ro’ziqulov, the Acting Rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. Within the framework of this meeting, the opening ceremony of the "Spanish-Uzbek Language Center" was conducted at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

During the ceremony, discussions on collaboration matters took place, and more than 40 textbooks, educational literature, and fiction books in the Spanish language were presented as gifts to the center.
