On the second day of the Uzbekistan-China Education Forum, 40 agreements are signed

On January 23, the Uzbekistan-China Education Forum continued in the city of Tianjin, China. The leaders of the higher education institutions of our country, as well as the rectors and vice-rectors of universities operating in Tianjin, participated in the large assembly hall of the Tiankai Higher Education, Science, and Innovation Technopark.

The event was opened by Lyu Iman, the Deputy Head of the Education Working Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Committee, and Inomjon Majidov, the Rector of the Uzbek National University.

During the event, a presentation on education in Tianjin took place. The presentation covered the correct distribution of resources, the enhancement of the professional education system, the opening of the "Lu Ban" workshop in Uzbekistan, and discussions about technological laboratories in Tianjin. Additionally, the participation of all Republic Higher Education Institutions in the second World Professional Education Conference to be held in Tianjin was proposed.

Speakers at the forum included Ma Sinbin, Vice-Rector of Tianjin State University; Ilhom Bekpulatov, Vice-Rector of Qarshi State University; Chen Fachun, Rector of Tianjin Foreign Languages University; Bakhtiyor Makhkamov, Tashkent University of Information Technologies; Chjan Min, Vice-Rector of Tianjin Agricultural Institute; and Alisher Usmonkulov, Rector of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. They delivered presentations covering various fields and directions, including IT in education, engineering, humanities, economics, language teaching, and integration of education and production.

According to the outcomes of the event, 40 bilateral agreements on various fields were signed between Uzbekistan and Higher Education Institutions in Tianjin city, and a series of negotiations were conducted through direct discussions.

The Uzbekistan-China Education Forum concluded with performances by students studying in Tianjin. The delegation members also visited Tianjin Pedagogical University, Tianjin Polytechnic University, and Tiankai Technological University, acquainting themselves with the activities of high schools, educational, and scientific laboratories. Furthermore, the Uzbekistan delegation visited the Beijing Museum and Cultural Heritage Exhibition organized by Tianjin Foreign Languages University, where they became familiar with Chinese traditions and customs. In addition, they visited the Tiankai Higher Education Innovation Park, a crucial part of the strategy for integrating education and innovation.
