On April 26th of this year, the "Central Asia – European Union" summit is scheduled to take place in Samarkand. For this event, over 150 teachers from Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, along with a team of student volunteers, will serve as translators to assist foreign delegations.

Today, the acting rector, Fazliddin Ruzikulov, held a meeting with the volunteer interpreters involved in the event. During the meeting, detailed instructions were given on understanding the economic growth, tourism development efforts, and historical sites. The interpreters were also briefed about international events being held in the country.
