Newly Renovated Student Residence Now Accommodates 350 Students


Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages is currently undergoing extensive renovations of its educational buildings and student residences.

Today, May 8, one of the five existing student residences, which was previously unusable, was completely renovated at a cost of 10 billion soums and reopened in conjunction with the Day of Remembrance and Appreciation.

For your information, this student residence, initially designed for 200 beds, has been adapted to accommodate 350 beds by installing bunk beds and has been equipped with all modern facilities. Additionally, the residence now includes tailoring and library facilities, as well as fitness and gym areas for students to engage in regular sports activities and spend their free time meaningfully.
