As it is previously reported, the next summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Samarkand region in 2022, and now all officials in Samarkand are taking a great deal of effort to organize and hold a high-level international summit. 

A number of tasks have been set to further improve the knowledge and skills of experienced professors and students who have mastered foreign languages at Samarkand State University, Samarkand  State Institute of Foreign Languages,   and the Silk Road International Tourism University in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5636-F "On measures to prepare for the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand in 2022" dated February 23, 2021.

In this regard, training courses have been organized at the Silk Road International Tourism University for staff who accompany the delegations of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is held in Samarkand. Seven teachers of English, Chinese and Russian from Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages were involved in the training courses, which began in February this year. 

Today, April 16, certificates were awarded to the participants who completed the courses. They were also awarded certificates of honor from the Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
