Today, May 26, the next meeting of the Council of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages was held. The following issues were on the agenda of the meeting:
- the implementation of decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, decisions and orders of the Board, and the Council of the Institute;
- the state of working with written and oral appeals of citizens at the Institute, etc.
At the end of the meeting, the followings have been awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts for their academic achievements:
Zokir Bazarov, executive director of the Academic Lyceum under SamSIFL, who received a diploma of associate professor on the specialty of 10.00.06 - "Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies" has been awarded valuable presents.
Sanat Shodiev, the head of the Department of Theoretical Aspects of the English Language", has been awarded a diploma of associate professor on the specialty of 10.00.01 - "The Uzbek Language".
Safiya Karimova from the Department of the Uzbek Language and Literature", has been awarded a diploma of associate professor on the specialty of 10.00.02 - "Uzbek Literature".
Gulnoza Qurbonova from the Department of Far Eastern Languages, has been awarded diplomas of Ph.D. and an associate professor on the specialty of 10.00.05 - "Language and Literature of Asian and African peoples" confirmed by the Supreme Attestation Commission, as well as a laptop.
Dilnoza Mamirova, a 3rd-year postgraduate researcher of SamSIFL, who received a diploma of Ph.D. on the specialty of 10.00.01 - "The Uzbek Language" has been awarded a laptop and a scholarship in the amount of 30 939 258 soums for defending the research work 7 months earlier than the set time.
Diyor Rajabov, a scientific supervisor of the SamSIFL students who won the 25th Central Asian Japanese Speech Contest in Kazakhstan, has been awarded a cash prize in the amount of 3 000 000 soums.
Feruzjon Asliev, a student of the educational direction of "Philology and language teaching: Japanese" at the Faculty of Oriental Languages, won 4th place at the 25th Central Asian Japanese Speech Contest in Kazakhstan, and he has been awarded a cash prize in the amount of 2 589 400 soums.
Javohir Shahobov, a student of the educational direction of "Philology and language teaching: Japanese" at the Faculty of Oriental Languages, won 1st place at the 25th Central Asian Japanese Speech Contest held in Kazakhstan, and he has been awarded a cash prize in the amount of 5 178 800 soums.
