A meeting was held with the participation of Charlotte Krauss, the director of the Scientific Research School of the University of Poitiers, Helene Yechelar, the dean of the Faculty of Literature and Linguistics of this university, and Ilhomjon Tokhtasinov, the rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

The parties discussed issues such as expanding the exchange programs for teachers and students, and organizing internships for students of Poitiers University at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. After the meeting, a seminar was organized with the participation of professors and teachers, students, and researchers.
