Today, a delegation led by Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Valencia, Jose Maria Chikiyo, visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and met with the Institute's Rector, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.

During the meeting, proposals were exchanged between Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and the University of Valencia. Discussions also revolved around enhancing the teaching of the Spanish language at the institute and engaging qualified Spanish language educators from the University of Valencia in the institute's educational processes.

As a token of goodwill, the delegation presented over 70 Spanish-language fiction books and textbooks to the "Spanish Language and Culture" center at the institute. Both parties agreed to further cultivate the activities of this center within their future collaborative efforts.
