On October 12, the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages welcomed Rafael Jimenez Castañeda, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at the University of Cadiz in Spain, and Andres Santana Arribaslar, Director of the International Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

The visit aimed to foster stronger collaboration, and discussions were held between the Spanish guests, and Fazliddin Rozikulov, the Acting Rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, and other officials. As a significant outcome of this visit, the Center for Cooperation with the University of Cadiz in Spain was established at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, followed by the signing of an agreement to continue their partnership.
