Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages hosted the international scientific-practical conference on "Actual Issues of Language Research and Education" and "Professional Improvement of Local Teachers in Bilingual Education of Korea and Central Asia" in collaboration with the "Korean Bilingual Society, Global Korean Studies Research Institute" in the Republic of Korea.
The purpose of the scientific-practical conference was to discuss current issues in language research and education. Kim Ji-Hyong, the president of the Global Korean Studies Research Institute in the Republic of Korea, and Chin Jong-Ran, the president of the Korean Bilingual Society, also participated in the conference.
