Significant reforms are underway at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages to enhance the quality and effectiveness of education, providing optimal conditions for students and faculty members. The construction and renovation of new academic buildings and student dormitories are noteworthy achievements in this regard.

Today, September 9, marking the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, a new seven-story academic building with a capacity of 2,000 students was officially opened. The total cost of this project is 74 billion 287 million soums, constructed by "Sifat Plus Qurilish" LLC. This new facility is a true celebratory gift for the institute's students and faculty.

The new building will serve three faculties. It features 85 classrooms accommodating 1,000 students, a 300-seat independent study room equipped with modern information technology, a 320-seat activity hall, an Information Resource Center, two rooms for simultaneous interpretation practice, a museum, a Registrar's Office, a conference hall, and five rooms designated for sports and cultural activities.
