As part of the student exchange program, five students from Japan, led by representatives Mr. Yamashita and Mr. Yagi from Nara Prefecture, visited Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and met with students from the Japanese language program.

A welcome ceremony was held in the activity hall of the Faculty of Eastern Languages, where local students performed Japanese songs and dances. A Q&A session was also conducted among the students.

During their visit, the Japanese guests, along with SamSIFL students, explored the historical sites and sacred landmarks of Samarkand.
