In accordance with the agreement between Confucius Institute Headquarters, Shanghai International Studies University and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, the Confucius Institute under SamSIFL was established in November 2014. The aim of this Institute is to guarantee sustainable development in teaching the Chinese language and culture. The Confucius Institute is open for everybody who wishes to study the Chinese language, literature, and culture. Courses are run by qualified native language specialists.
