Responsibilities of the head and employees of the coordinating department for providing students with housing

Resolution No. 563 of September 9, 2021 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measures to increase the level of accommodation for students in higher educational institutions of the Republic was adopted. In paragraph 7 of the decision, the structure of the state higher education institutions consists of a state unit, which is maintained at the expense of extra-budgetary funds. It is allowed to establish a unit coordinating the work of providing students with accommodation.

In accordance with the order of the Minister of Higher Secondary Education No. 390 dated September 13, 2021, it was developed to include the positions of the department coordinating the work of providing housing for students maintained at the expense of extra-budgetary funds in the structure of state higher education institutions. In this regard, a department coordinating the work of providing housing for students was introduced at the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

The student housing coordination department performs the following tasks:

- the head of the coordinating department for student accommodation is appointed by the management of the institute based on the regulations. It has a state unit for its activities, work plan and program, and manages the school's administrative, moral and educational work. Specialists of the department coordinating the work of providing housing for students regularly visit the residences of students living in student residences, rented and private apartments, organize the conditions and problems of students there, and take measures to improve their conditions;

- distribution of the number of rooms in student residences under the authority of the institute according to the faculty's student contingent, consideration of applications from faculties, after these applications are considered in accordance with the established regulations, help to settle in student housing;

-regular organization of cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and living conditions of students in student residences under the management of the institute.

- my teacher summarizes the rent bank information of the students living on rent in the institute, in cooperation with the tutors, he regularly gets acquainted with the living conditions of the students living on rent, organizes the conditions created there and develops proposals for improving the shortcomings that have arisen.

According to the implementation of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 605 of September 24, 2021 on the procedure for covering a part of the monthly rent from the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the students of state higher education institutions living on the basis of the right to rent:

Forming a list of students who applied to cover a part of the monthly rent of students living in rented accommodation by the department and presenting the list of applicants to the members of the selection commission.
