It is no exaggeration to say that Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   is one of the leading universities in the region in terms of establishing cooperation with foreign universities since the institute continues international cooperation with about 100 prestigious foreign universities. It includes Australian universities and educational institutions as well.

In the framework of cooperation with Australian universities, Ian Patterson, an Australian English language specialist, was invited to work at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.

On May 12, a meeting was held with the participation of Vice-Rector of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   Fazliddin Ruzikulov and Associate Professor Ian Patterson. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on cooperation and identified future plans. Ian Patterson also works at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages   until the end of the current academic year.
